PORTLAND ARS POETICA
A member of a close knit group of poets who critique and edit each other's work with intelligent and passionate kindness seeing attributes, but with editing prowess.

FREE RANGE POETRY
A co-director of Free Range which curates and invites poets to a reading of their own poetry at the Multnomah Public Library in Northwest Portland.
PAST PROJECTS
Opened Rubedo Gallery as a cooperative artists' gallery in Bozeman, Montana. Great works and community that lasted seven years with members working together having themed art exhibits and events. When they needed a phone to accept credit cards, the members decided it became too commercial, but was a harmonious fun gallery in which to exhibit artwork.
Also in her repertoire, she has cooked at a sheep ranch in Montana and lived in a sheep herder's wagon for two months, where her main goal was to write poetry, not pull bum lambs and make fraudulent coats for them from other lambs.
She has changed three sets of cloth diapers and raised those babies to be beautiful women.
She served on an advisory council for Montana State University for the College of Art and chaired fund-raising. Her commitment was for twelve years while she lived in Montana.
At one time in her life's collection, she decorated cakes in a fancy bakery and realized she wanted to be a pastry chef, she has made xmas wreaths for money, she has done graphic design but realized that she is not interested in the "main-stream" of advertising, she has either renovated or designed three different houses, none of which she ever hopes to see again.
